Midstream operator Plains All American (PAA) announced the promotion of Michelle Podavin to president of the company’s Canadian business.
Podavin serves as senior vice president of NGL commercial assets for Plains Midstream Canada (PMC), which is based in Calgary. Effective June 1, she will be responsible for the leadership and direction of PMC.
She succeeds Dean Liollio, who will move to PAA’s Houston office and take the position of senior vice president for special projects, according to a March 4 news release.

We are also very grateful to Dean for his excellent leadership of PMC for the past four years, including playing a pivotal role in positioning PMC for continued success in the future,” Willie Chiang, PAA chairman and CEO, said.
Podavin has more than 28 years of industry experience and holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Alberta.
