Timothy S. Bedard is joining CNX Resources Corp. in replacement of Alexander J. Reyes as executive vice president of general counsel and corporate secretary, according to a Dec. 1 press release.
Most recently, Bedard served as the head of legal for Visa’s value added services business. Prior to that role, he was Visa’s chief of intellectual property (IP) counsel, where he led a legal team responsible for IP licensing, patent litigation, technology transactions, M&A related IP issues and patent preparation and prosecution, the release stated.
“Tim's extensive expertise in IP and technology and significant depth of experience partnering with management teams will be a critical element in accelerating the growth of our New Tech business opportunities and the continued execution of our sustainable business model," said Nick Deluliis, president and CEO at CNX.
CNX and Reyes agreed to separate from service, after 16 years, without cause from the company, the release added.
