California Resources Corp. appointed Manuela Molina on May 1 to executive vice president and CFO, effective May 8.
Molina is taking the place of former CFO Francisco Leon, who was promoted to president and CEO on April 28, as well as made a member of the board of directors.
Molina is joining California Resources from Sempra Energy as the vice president of audit services and vice president of investor relations. Molina also served as CFO of a subsidiary of Sempra Energy, Infraestructura Energética Nova, S.A.P.I. de C.V. (IEnova).
“As the company carries on with its energy transition initiatives, I’m excited to work with Francisco [Leon, president and CEO of California Resources] and the rest of the team to expand on the carbon management business [and] safely produce and deliver low carbon intensity energy to the local communities where [California Resources] operates and help California achieve its climate goals.”
California Resources Corp. is an independent energy and carbon management company.
