APA Corp. has appointed Scott Grandt as its senior vice president, corporate development, the company announced in a June 14 press release. The appointment was effective June 12.
In this new role, Grandt will head up APA’s corporate development team and will work to identify and execute new transactions for the company. Grandt previously served as managing director of investment banking at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he executed strategic and financial transactions for the company’s corporate clients and financial sponsors. Prior to Goldman Sachs, he worked at Alta Mesa Resources and Citigroup.
"I am pleased to welcome Scott to our leadership team," said Stephen J. Riney, APA’s CFO and executive vice president. “He brings a diverse background in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, investor relations and corporate planning and will be a great complement to our executive team.”
