First River Energy LLC received an equity investment from RWE Supply & Trading, the energy trading arm of the European utility, First River said Aug. 5.
The amount was not disclosed.
Eric Shaw, RWE’s global head of principal investments, said the company looks forward to seeing First River’s growth in the midstream market. First River recently acquired Texas Gathering Co.
First River Energy LLC is based in Denver.
