Western Gas Partners LP (NYSE: WES) and Western Gas Equity Partners LP (NYSE: WGP) said on May 13 that its board of directors appointed Gennifer F. Kelly as senior vice president and COO.
“We are delighted to be able to add a proven leader with over 20 years of energy experience to our executive team,” Benjamin Fink, Western Gas’ CEO, said. “Both her operations and safety expertise make her the ideal candidate to help us complete the execution of the largest capital program in our history.”
Kelly is currently vice president of midstream and marketing at Anadarko Petroleum Corp. (NYSE: APC), the sponsor of the partnerships. Prior to her current positions, Kelly held a variety of leadership roles within Anadarko as well as a variety of engineering and operations focused positions.
