The U.S. is the fast riser in the realm of global LNG exporters and China will soon take over the top spot in importing, the IEA's executive director, Fatih Birol, said at the World Gas Conference in Washington. Also, Texas will remain energy-friendly, a panel of lawyers said at the recent Midstream Texas Conference; and Shell is focusing on its natural gas assets, particularly those in the Marcellus and Utica.
