James H. Nolan II, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Sheehan Pipe Line Construction Co., was elected 56th president of the Pipe Line Contractors Association (PLCA).
Nolan received a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University before joining the U.S. Army. He began his career in the pipeline industry when he was 16, working during the summer. Nolan has been with Sheehan Pipe Line for the duration of his career, holding various construction and management positions. In 1976, he became a partner of the company.
