We have updates to share on pipeline infrastructure in the Midcontinent region. The following information is part of a report that features comprehensive information about current, planned and announced pipelines, processing facilities, export terminals and other midstream logistics in the Barnett, Mississippi Lime, Panhandle and Woodford plays.
We have four updates to our crude oil infrastructure table for third-quarter 2017:
- Blueknight Energy Partners LP (NASDAQ: BKEP) revised the in-service date for its Oklahoma condensate pipeline. The pipeline was originally expected to come online in second-quarter 2017 but is now expected to come online at year-end. Once commissioned, the pipeline will transport 24,000 barrels per day (Mbbl/d) of comingled condensate grade crude oil from Maysville, Okla., to Cushing, Okla.
- In its most recent investor presentation, EnLink Midstream Partners LP (NYSE: ENLK) disclosed that it plans on constructing a new crude oil gathering system called the Black Coyote. The system will primarily support Devon Energy Corp.’s (NYSE: DVN) successful ongoing development of its acreage in the STACK, including Devon’s multi-zone Showboat project. The project is expected to come online in first-quarter 2018 and will match volumes coming on-line from Devon’s multi-zone Showboat development.
- Tallgrass Energy Partners LP (NYSE: TEP) disclosed that subsidiary Pony Express signed an agreement with CHS Inc. to connect the 100 Mbbl/d CHS McPherson, Kan., refinery to Pony Express’ mainline. Pony Express has agreed to build connection facilities designed to supply the refinery with multiple common streams of crude oil. Completion of the facilities is expected by the end of the year.
- Tallgrass Energy Partners LP announced that subsidiary Tallgrass Terminals has a signed, 10-year take-or-pay agreement from a new customer to support the construction of a terminal in the Central Kansas Uplift. Pony Express, in turn, will establish a supply connection at the new terminal and another common stream of crude oil on its mainline. Tallgrass Terminals will build terminaling facilities designed to receive Kansas crude oil production with delivery capabilities in excess of 20 Mbbl/d into the Pony Express mainline. Completion of the facilities is expected in first-quarter 2018.
