GE Power Systems has purchased PII Group Ltd. from the United Kingdom’s HgCapital. PII provides in-line inspections and integrity management services, and is headquartered in Cramlington, Newcastle.
With 775 employees worldwide, PII was acquired by HgCapital from British Gas in 1998. PII’s annual revenues total more than $170 million from operations in more than 45 countries.
