As they have for more than 30 years, March visitors to KeySpan’s headquarters in Brooklyn, N.Y., were able to witness the company’s traditional duckling hatch. The annual display features specially designed incubators containing fertilized duck eggs and a pond where the newborn ducks take their first swim.
Each year, elementary school teachers from all over Brooklyn bring their students to the ground floor of One MetroTech Center to enjoy the daily performances. KeySpan Corp. is the largest distributor of gas in the Northeast with 2.5 million gas customers and more than 13,000 employees.
