Robert R. Harl stepped down from his roles as CEO and director of Willbros Group Inc. ahead of his planned retirement on Jan. 2, 2015, the company said in a statement. The Willbros board of directors elected John T. McNabb, II as the new CEO.
McNabb, who joined the Willbros board in August 2006, was appointed executive chairman on Aug. 29, 2014, of this year, and will continue as chairman. Company President Earl Collins also resigned his position and left the company. The board elected Michael J. Fournier, who assumed the role of COO on July 1, as the company’s new president.
