Valerus launched Valerus COMMAND on its contract compression fleet and on facilities it owns and operates. It integrates remote monitoring and analytics, enterprise asset management (EAM), standard operating procedures, and technical expertise to deliver actionable information and insight. This improves safety, service, availability, reliability and environmental compliance of surface facilities.
Valerus partnered with Enbase Energy Technology to develop the performance monitoring and analytics portion — or predictive SCADA — which automates real-time data, notifications and daily reports within the system. Data is then fed into the Valerus EAM system, which generates a work order with model-specific maintenance procedures and intelligently routes service technicians to provide timely, effective response. In addition, Valerus integrated its standardized operating and maintenance procedures and opened the COMMAND Center in Houston. The result is improved availability and performance.
Because all monitored information is historically archived, reporting for environmental compliance is simplified. Safety is also improved with the ability to identify potentially hazardous conditions and reduce the amount of time on the road or at the site. Furthermore, centralized recordkeeping provides timely, simplified access to job safety analysis data for requirements such as safety audits, operator qualification (OQ), and safety and environmental management systems (SEMS).
