Sunoco Pipeline LP successfully closed a binding open season for its Delaware Basin extension project, Sunoco Logistics Partners LP said in a Jan. 21 statement. The project will consist of about 125 miles of newbuild pipeline with an initial transport capacity of about 100,000 barrels per day.
The planned extension will transport crude oil from the Delaware Basin area in New Mexico and West Texas to Midland, Texas. It is scheduled to begin operations during the first half of 2016.
