Sinopec and the Ghana National Gas Co. (GNGC) announced they will begin construction on a 120 million cubic feet per day natural gas processing plant in Domunli section of western Ghana. The plant, which is being funded by an $800 million from China, will process gas produced by Tullow Oil PLC in the offshore Jubilee field. Construction is set to begin in Dec. 2011 with operations beginning in early 2013.
