Silver Lake Partners, which specializes in private investments in technology and technology-enabled industries, and its energy and resource innovation strategy Silver Lake Kraftwerk agreed to acquire Quorum Business Solutions from funds managed by The Carlyle Group’s middle-market buyout team and Riverstone Holdings. Quorum provides software—including financial accounting, transaction systems, land and property management and trading and risk management—for companies within the oil and gas supply chain.
Several key members of Quorum management will participate as equity partners in the new ownership structure. The transaction is expected to close following satisfaction of customary closing conditions and approvals.
