Sage Midstream Ventures LLC received $500 million in equity from private-equity firm Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners, the company said April 18.
Sidley Austin LLP was Stonepeak's legal counsel. Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP was Sage Midstream management's counsel.
Jack Howell, Luke Taylor and Forrest Wylie will join the board of directors when the financing closes, Sage Midstream said.
Sage Midstream will provide transportation, processing, fractionation, storage and marketing services for natural gas, NGL, crude oil, petrochemicals and refined products.
Greg Bowles, president; John Steen, vice president of business development; Nick Cocavessis, vice president of engineering and operations; and Vlad Klenikov, vice president of finance, lead Sage Midstream. They are experienced in the acquisition, development, construction and operation of midstream energy infrastructure, Sage Midstream said.
Previously, Bowles was executive vice president of Lone Star NGL, a division of Energy Transfer Partners LP. At Lone Star NGL, he and Steen developed more than $1 billion of energy infrastructure projects.
