Rimrock Midstream LLC and NGL Energy Partners LP announced a binding open season for the proposed Grand Mesa Pipeline, scheduled to begin on Sept. 5 at 8 a.m. Central Standard Time and close on Oct. 3 at 5 p.m. Central Standard Time. Potential shippers may access open season documents after the execution of a confidentiality agreement.

The planned pipeline will run from Weld County, Colo., for 550 miles to NGL Energy Partners’ crude oil storage terminal in Cushing, Okla. The current design allows for transporting more than 130,000 barrels per day of crude oil.
