Energy Transfer Partners LP and Regency Energy Partners LP said April 29 that unitholders approved the agreement and merger plan under which Regency will become a wholly owned subsidiary of ETP.
The agreement and merger plan is from Jan. 25. It concerns Regency, ETP, their respective general partners, certain wholly owned subsidiaries of ETP, ETE GP Acquirer LLC and Energy Transfer Equity LP.
Based on the results, 99.6% of the units voted to adopt the agreement. The merger is expected to close April 30.
