Oasis Petroleum Inc. (NYSE: OAS) said April 5 its subsidiary has launched an open season for a new Bakken Shale pipeline, the Johnson's Corner Pipeline Project.

Oasis Midstream Services LLC, the Houston company's subsidiary, is commencing a binding open season for the project, a new crude oil pipeline to be constructed in McKenzie County, N.D.

The project is a 19-mile, 10-inch diameter pipe connecting the Wild Basin field development with Johnson's Corner. The pipe has an anticipated operating capacity of 50,000 barrels per day.

The open season will begin on April 8 and close May 9.
