Medallion Pipeline Company LLC, a subsidiary of Medallion Midstream LLC, successfully commenced operations of about 97 miles of its Midland Basin crude oil gathering and transportation system. Medallion began initial deliveries of crude into the BridgeTex Pipeline from its 60-mile Wolfcamp Connector pipeline and about 37 miles of its Reagan Gathering Extension Pipeline on Oct. 10.
The system has current capacity of 65,000 barrels per day (bbl/d) of crude and is scalable to about 150,000 bbl/d. Mediallion closed a successful open season for capacity on the system on Feb. 3. The company expects the remaining portion of its Reagan Gathering Extension as well as truck unloading stations at its Reagan Station and Garden City Station to be in operation by the end of the year.
