Western Canada-based Maverick Oilfield Services Ltd. acquired all shares of Latigo Trucking Ltd. Maverick is a provider of oil and gas mechanical construction, maintenance and transportation services. Through the acquisition, Latigo will be able to expand its services in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and the surrounding area.
“As Maverick looks to further strengthen its transportation business segment, the opportunity to add Latigo to our portfolio of companies enhances our growth strategy,” Chris Challis, Maverick’s CEO, said in a statement. “Latigo enables Maverick to focus on building this segment of our business, as we continue to execute our strategy to become a leader in the industry.”
