MarkWest Energy Partners LP completed long-term, fee-based agreements to install the Hidalgo Complex cryogenic gas processing plant in the Delaware Basin, the company said June 2.
The plant is in Culberson County, Texas, and is scheduled to be operational in second-quarter 2016.
Frank Semple, MarkWest’s chairman, president and CEO, said the basin is highly prospective. Cimarex Energy (XEC) and Chevron Corp. (CVX) are MarkWest’s customers at the plant under the joint venture, he added.
Midstream MLP Markwest Energy Partners LP is based in Denver.
