Engineering company Leidos won a contract from Magellan Midstream Partners LP to provide engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for a condensate splitter at Magellan’s Corpus Christi, Texas, processing and storage terminal.

The condensate splitter is scheduled to enter service in the second half of 2016. It has an expected processing capacity of up to 50,000 barrels per day (bbl/d) of Eagle Ford condensate received from the Double Eagle Pipeline.

Under the contract, Leidos will use its DesignBuild services to design and install the single processing train. The design includes an allowance for a potential second train to increase production output to 100,000 bbl/d. Leidos will work with Saulsbury Industries on the splitter’s construction.
