J-W Power Company announced the acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Enerven Compression LLC and Worldwide Energy Solutions Co. LLC (WESCO).
The Seller has over 400 natural gas compression packages (175,000 total horsepower) located primarily in the mid-continent and Barnett Shale regions. The company has five (5) field offices and a very successful third party maintenance, repair and refurbishment business.
"Enerven has historically been very strong in the third party service work so combined with J-W Power Company's success in leasing compression it's a tremendous opportunity for all of us," Don Bizzell, president of J-W Power Company, said in a release.
Substantially all of the company's personnel will be retained so the same quality service that customers have come to know will continue.
J-W Power Company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of J-W Energy Company that specializes in leasing, sales and service of natural gas compression packages. J-W Power Company leases and operates the largest privately-owned compression fleet in the United States with compressor packages ranging from 18 to 1,775 horsepower.
