The Gas Authority of India (GAIL) and the Iranian National Oil Co. (NIOC) have announced plans to study the feasibility of an Iran to India gas pipeline.
Early plans envisage a U.S. $4.1 billion, 1,725-mi line that will deliver gas from Iran's Asslauyah fields to GAIL's HBJ pipeline near Delhi.
