Hoerbiger Compression Technology appointed Donald York to the position of chief operating officer and senior vice president for Hoerbiger Corp. of America Inc. He will develop and drive the operational strategies as well as oversee the day-to-day activities of the production, supply chain, design, manufacturing engineering, quality, EHS and facility management departments for the Hoerbiger Lead Plants located in Houston, Texas and Pompano Beach, Florida.
Based in Houston, York will report to Hannes Hunchofsky, president of Hoerbiger Corp. of America. Previously York served as president for Cook Compression, where he focused on providing reciprocating compressor and engine components, service and repair for large horsepower compression equipment in the oil and gas industry. He earned his BSME from the University of Louisville and an MBA from the University of Indiana.
