Pieridae Energy Canada Ltd. (Pieridae) has registered its Goldboro LNG Project with Nova Scotia Environment. Filing of the environmental registration document is the first step in the provincial environmental approval process for the proposed project to be located in Goldboro, Nova Scotia.

Goldboro LNG will include a natural gas liquefaction plant and facilities for the storage and export of liquefied natural gas (LNG), including a marine jetty for loading. The project will create significant direct and indirect economic benefits for the local community, province and region.
Nova Scotia Environment has reviewed the Goldboro LNG Project and developed a draft Terms of Reference for a comprehensive environmental assessment of the project.

The proposed Goldboro LNG facility is anticipated to receive, liquefy and export up to about ten million metric tons of natural gas per year and have on-site storage capacity of 690,000 cubic meters of LNG.
