Asta Energy (Asta) is offering 100% working interest in approximately 15 LSDs located in the Kerrobert area of Saskatchewan. Asta believes the property to have approximately 30 million barrels (MMbbl) of thermal exploitable oil. Chapman Petroleum Engineering Ltd., a neutral third party, has performed an independent evaluation of the property, which estimated the property to have probable reserves of 20.5 MMbbl of heavy oil. In addition, the lot is estimated to have a net present value of $338.4 million using forecast pricing at a 10% discount. Asta Energy has retained Sayer Energy Advisors as its exclusive advisor relating to the transaction.
