Enbridge Energy Partners LP closed a public offering of senior unsecured notes for about $1.6 billion in proceeds, the company said Oct. 6.
The offer was comprised of $500 million of notes due Oct. 15, 2020; $500 million of notes due Oct. 15, 2025 and $600 million of notes due Oct. 15, 2045.
The total net proceeds will repay some commercial paper and credit facility debts and also support capital expansion projects and general corporate purposes.
The offer’s settlement date was Oct. 6.
Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, Mizuho Securities USA Inc., DNB Markets Inc., Mitsubishi UFJ Securities (USA) Inc., SMBC Nikko Securities America Inc., Barclays Capital Inc., Wells Fargo Securities LLC and Credit Agricole Securities (USA) Inc. were joint book-running managers.
