Columbia Pipeline Group (CPGX) will likely be removed from the Alerian Energy Infrastructure Index (AMEI) in a special rebalancing, according to Alerian June 21.
Special rebalancings are triggered by corporate actions such as mergers, bankruptcies and liquidations.
Pending shareholder approval, CPGX will cease trading due to its merger with TransCanada.
