Stephen Arata was appointed CEO of both Caiman Energy II LLC and Blue Racer Midstream LLC after Jack Lafield stepped down as CEO of both companies, Caiman said May 20.
Lafield will remain chairman of Caiman Energy II’s board of directors, and will remain on Blue Racer’s board of directors.
Previously, Arata was CFO of Caiman Energy II and Blue Racer Midstream. He joined predecessor company Caiman Energy LLC in October 2010.
Arata co-founded Caiman Energy II in mid-2012 and was a lead negotiator in the December 2012 formation of Blue Racer Midstream, a joint venture between Caiman Energy II and Dominion. Blue Racer provides midstream services in the Utica and Marcellus shares.
Kyle Irons will replace Arata as CFO. Irons was vice president of finance of Caiman Energy II from July 2012 to May 2015. He joined Caiman Energy in October 2010 as director of finance.
Blue Racer Midstream LLC and Caiman Energy II LLC are based in Dallas.
