JGC Lands FEED Contract For Malaysian Plant

JGC Corp. has been awarded a contract from Petronas for the liquid natural gas (LNG) train 9 project in Bintulu, Malaysia.

The contract adopts a dual front-end engineering and design (FEED) competition scheme which will increase the existing LNG plant facilities with an additional capacity of 3.6 million tons per year.

The FEED is planned to be completed in fourth quarter 2012.
