Midwestern Manufacturing Company has announced commencement of production of its newly designed sideboom attachment for the new John Deere 1050J model crawler tractor. The new pipelayer has a maximum lift capacity of 140,000 lbs. and was developed by Midwestern’s engineering group working closely with John Deere Construction Division engineers and senior representatives. The new Midwestern proprietary sideboom attachment for the John Deere 1050J follows last year’s design for the 1050C model, which was field-tested on a 36-in. job last year by a major US mainline contractor. ...
