Frac Spread Margins Rebound Off of Price Stabilization

Frac spread margins rebounded strongly off of the NGL price stabilization this week and sharp declines in feedstock prices.

Conway had the two biggest increases with iso-butane increasing 24% and ethane increasing 13%. The NGL with the lowest increase in frac spread margins in Kansas was pentanes-plus, which rose by 3%.

All NGLs in Mont Belvieu reported increases in frac spread margins, although the increases were less pronounced than in Conway this week. The largest gainer was propane, which rose 6%. The NGL with the lowest frac spread margin increase ...
