Occidental of Elk Hills Inc., an operating unit of Occidental Petroleum Corp., awarded CB&I a US$280 million contract to build a 200 million cubic-feet-per-day capacity natural gas processing plant in the Elk Hills field near the San Joaquin Valley in central California.
The facility, which will include fractionation and liquids storage services and its related export pipelines, is expected to complete in the first half of 2012. – Frank Nieto
