Throughout Hart Energy Publishing’s Marcellus Midstream Conference, which was held at the Westin Hotel in Pittsburgh, Pa., earlier this week, speakers highlighted the many ways in which their companies were seeking to, or in the process of, developing the Marcellus shale.
The play became an obvious target for exploration and production companies after the successes found in other unconventional shale plays in the United States. However, many were still surprised at the sheer size and scope of the play, and how fast it has come to life.
